Introduce Sloan Letman IV - Clear about: open communication; Love and care for each other; very excited. Here to listen and learn the flow. Bylaws: everything makes sense now. Prefers to be called Pastor Sloan.

Discussion: In contact since November. Agreed to join us for doing service. We voted to allow him to join us as a paid guest speaker for three times.

Larry: background and why Peoples Church. Described extensive background in seminary and called to pastor of 2nd congregational in 2017 then working with homeless ministry as associate pastor. Member of good Shepard for two years. Larry: big congreations? No, small. We had to setup church before every Sunday service.

PBC report: Parking: Dr. Dan history described. Larry got a hold of Dr. Dan and asked about parking: Give me make model and license plate numbers sent back to Dan awaiting a response.

Worship Committee:

Laptop Ministry: Grace moves: Second: Larry $360 yearly budget passed Coordinated to get a tax letter to use for recyclery discussed and yet to be obtained for use. Keep eyes open for recyelery opportunities to help Jason.

Membership moth. Began March 1st. Grace delayed in sending membership email. Was sent today. Jake: out of office this week and next week. Jake out till the 17th.

Annual Meeting: Slate Trustees 2029 is same as before. There is open slot for trustee member. Agenda: as attached for April 12th Discussion on line items as presented. Annual meeting is during church rather than after church. Move to approve agenda of annual meeting: Grace moved. Francesca seconded.

Lawyers report: Lawyers agreed to Jake's position on volunteering for care of relatives, to not offer that. Conversation with Dr. Dan to get in the building and work on 5th floor for lawyers to discuss his lawyers to figure it out.

Open Studio Project: Last year we donated $20,000 to art project as part of one northside men's shelter for transitional housing. They requested another donation. Runs out April Huge success Many work to recover from trauma from being homeless We are welcome to join in their sessions They are working on a gallery show this summer They have a studio and will use the space to present their member's artwork Grace went through the history of the programs development Last time we checked investment is making as much as we are spending. Grace Moves to pass budget of $20,000 for Open Studio Project of Northside Housing for Health and Wellness for Transitional Housing . Fransesca: Seconds. All called to pass unanimously.

Called Pastoral Discussion: Elizabeth: down to earth and will fit right in with us. He seems like everyday people. Francesca: Nice speaking and always learning more with open communication. Grace: Certain things he can't answer because he needs to listen to people so I can tailor my messages for him. Larry: Brings a lot of energy to table. He's a go getter. He brings more levity to message and realism that I can associate with Jason: He is a go getter and fuels the fire in us and is ready to get started on stuff.

We plan to pay him what a full time pastor gets with benefits and everything. Grace: Move that we present Rev. Sloan T Letman IV join our congregation as our senior pastor with UCC regulated pay scale and benefits. Francesca second. Motion unamononulsy passed by individual vote.

After congregation votes for Pastor Sloan, then church organizes interrum pastor party and transitioning for pastor Carey to end his contract at the mid-end of April. Present him on the 29th of March, and to starts April 1st. Congregation needs two weeks notice.

Next trustee meeting May 5th, 2026 at 5pm Annual meeting is April 12th, 2026 Special meeting to vote on budget
