In a world deeply divided by conflicting visions of justice, resolution, and what we owe one another, I wish to clearly state my position regarding methods — and when/where we must refrain.
Throughout recent history, nearly every administration has produced its varied chorus of voices declaring:
“This is the moment for revolt.”
Yet true revolutionary momentum rarely materializes — except, sometimes, at the wrong times and under the sway of misguided ideologies.
My only ideology is the pursuit of truth, anchored in love.
I reject violence as a path to resolution. Two wrongs have never made a right.
Any form of revolt, regardless of its stated cause, ultimately divides people and manufactures new enemies among us.
We are all born with equal capacity to choose love and adapt to it.
Disparity, when left to fester, breeds division.
I have stopped using the word “hate” — it has become too sharp a blade, cutting in both directions is really based in fear; an unwillingness to know and turn it to dark.
Only love, through its patient healing power, can truly mend what has been broken.
Labeling individuals as sociopaths, narcissists, or irredeemable monsters diminishes the possibility of bridge-building.
It undermines the very leverage that can move us toward unity — which is, again, acceptance rooted in love.
Every human being carries within them a deep longing to belong.
That longing, when channeled toward a shared vision of progress, is what gives life purpose, what makes us want to coexist.
Despite the fractures we see, I do not believe all is lost.
For those who walk the same corridors as I do and seek my support, let me be unmistakably clear about what that support looks like:
The only form of resistance I will actively support is the safe and non-violent release of information — when done as an act of conscience, not malice.
Truth revealed honestly is never sly.
Truth accepted, even when painful, is the only force capable of bringing genuine peace between people.
Therefore:
Acceptable action = peaceful demonstration of information
Unacceptable action = any form of coercion, destruction, or violence
We must release the comforting illusion of an evil enemy secretly co-opting truth.
Instead, we should become the wind in the sails of whatever truth any leader — any person — is willing to carry forward.
We do this by consistently supporting movement toward truth, no matter who currently holds the helm.
This is the only realistic, peaceful path toward justice in unity.
Love does not bend.
Truth does not negotiate.
Together they can still guide us — if we let them.
That is where I stand.
That is the only help I can offer.
